Ottawa County Fairgrounds in Holland, Michigan.
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Holland, MI: The 15th Annual Lakeshore Blessing of the Bikes will be held at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds in Holland, Michigan, Sunday, April 30, 2017. Gates open at 10:00 am. Prizes and drawings begin after 2:15 pm with the Blessing at 3:00 pm.

An entry fee donation of $5.00 per bike or vehicle will be collected. All gate proceeds from this charitable event will benefit Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity and Kids' Food Basket - Holland.

The purpose: A community gathering to start the 2017 riding season with a blessing for the riders to have a safe year, to promote a sense of fellowship among bikers and to support local charities.

Hundreds of motorcyclists and non-motorcyclists attend the blessing. The event features live classic rock music and classic cars on display. Food vendors are on-site and merchandise/retail vendors are invited to sell leather goods, t-shirts, jewelry and other "wares". Our goal is to provide family-friendly, widespread audience appeal.

We encourage all bikes that are "classics" and "customs" to pay a $10 entry fee to enter their motorcycle for a chance to win the "Bill O'Brien Bike Contest" and "Bob Burn's Vintage Bike Contest" (25 years or older). Winners receive a trophy and cash prize (sponsored by BMW Motorcycles and ODL). Look for the directional signs when you enter and park in this "VIP" section. Judging by a selected panel will begin at 2:15 pm.

Directions: Take I-196 west to exit 55, go right and follow Bus 196 Chicago Drive to north US 31. Exit first exit onto Lakewood Blvd. Go right. Follow the signs to the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, 1286 Ottawa Beach Road, Holland.
